Hope as an anchor

Just wanted to give those who have asked some added details...My mom's follow up appointment on Monday didn't go as we had hoped and prayed....the CT scan that she had last week revealed a small mass in her pelvic region. He is also concerned because her Ca125, that is a tumor marker, that we have been following over the last year went from a 4 to 125. At her appointment on Monday the doctor was able to feel this mass that is actually 6 cm. She is going in for a PET scan as soon as insurance approves the $16, 000 scan. (Come on insurance we are tired of waiting). If the scan lights up as though there is cancer she will be returning to surgery so Dr. Munoz can remove the mass and look and assure there is not any other areas of concern. If the area does not light up on the PET scan an interventional radiologist will go in to biopsy the area. I explained a PET scan in detail here....I unfortunately don't have the emotional energy to go into detail again....we are praying that this cystic tumor is nothing but a mass of cells that are NOT cancer. We prayed over Mimi while in the bathroom at Paradise Bakery...I don't think God cares where we pray haha....that this mass would not be cancer in Jesus name!!!  I AM SO SICK OF CANCER!!!!! There are SO many emotions going through me right now and I am not quite sure how to process them all but through all this I trust the Lord and know that He is faithful.. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your prayers....my mom says she truly feels His peace thanks to all your prayers!!

John 14:27
27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we await all the tests over the next week...me having to start back to work for the first time in 12 weeks in the midst of this and all the anxiety that has come along with all of this.

Miss Isabella loving on Mimi at her appointment...don't mind that she is naked...she had the biggest blow out of her life and her extra outfit was in the car!! But look how adorable Mimi looks with her cute hair!!
