Weekend Wrap-up

This is a late weekend wrap up....man life has been crazy lately...lots of changes, praises, scares, trying to soak in every moment and enjoy every minute of this life we've been blessed with....

Friday...we were suppose to have a date night but our nanny was sick so we decided on a steak dinner in...which worked out great since it was raining and I had an extra cuddly baby on my hands from teething...

This little munchkin fought her afternoon naps over the weekend....which she NEVER fights sleep she usually reaches for her crib to be laid down so you bet I soaked it in...I rocked her, held her, sang to her, prayed over her....aw my current heaven...

I'm SO incredibly undeserving of this...

Mommy's milk supply is dwindling so we decided to see how she liked whole milk...I was hoping to wait til exactly 12 months but we did our best....she was a huge fan at first then wasn't so sure about it...

Haha she will get 3/4 breast milk to 1/4 whole milk hopefully this last 5 weeks before weaning begins...

Our delicious steak dinner with my fave...okra and asparagus...my hubby sure can cook...

Saturday...we had some extra play time, some more snuggles, then headed out to the balloon festival and had SO much fun...Isabella was a trooper and entertained herself the whole 2.5 hours we were there mostly thanks to 2 diapers;)

And kids really do watch you and learn...she was brushing her nonexistent hair...too cute....it is getting longer though:)

So many fun memories of the balloon festival growing up....so thankful to get to experience it with my lil family...

New annual family tradition...

Sunday...we headed to church, had lunch to celebrate the best daddy and hubby's b-day with the fam, hosted small group and enjoyed our last night before the dreaded Monday!!
