17 months

Oh sweet girl, 17 whole months of pure joy!! Thank you for bringing so much joy and light to your daddy and I's lives. We say all the time we can't remember what life was like without you....you have brought us more love and joy than we could ever explain...I have fears of you feeling jealous when baby brother comes and am already praying for the transition for you when he comes...I know you will love him...you adore babies and playmates!

You are doing great on your Prevacid thank goodness....your appetite has stayed good and your pickiness still comes and goes but you are much better most days...you are not a typical toddler you do NOT like the usual unhealthy toddler foods-mac n cheese, PB&J, or chicken nuggets...you are quite picky with what snack you get, you go to the fridge or pantry and say "nack" and "no" until I find the one you want:)

You are still my little social bee and active girl...I swear you push the limits on a regular basis and climb on everything...despite mommy hoping you wouldn't like gymnastics and cheerleading (they are dangerous sweet girl...I have surgeries to prove it) you may just be one...we will see, mommy will let you do whatever your little heart desires, within reason of course.

You have started to say baby when you see mommy's tummy....doubt you really know what that means but you have heard mommy tell you that so now you say it..mommy's belly has gotten quite big and you love to touch it and push on my outie belly button

You love outside and park time....you love playdates and attention....I mean who wouldn't love these things!! You absolutely love Mickey Mouse Clubhouse...it's the only show you watch...you will grab your Minnie and sit in your chair and say "Minninie, Minninie" until I turn it on...I love it!

You have had a few weeks of sleep changes....you would say no when I would lay you in your crib and lay your head down on my shoulder and just want to rock...as much as I don't want to make a bad habit or breaking any training we have done I will never say no to cuddles and rocking...I adore it...you still do great on the other nights and I can lay you right down but if you want to rock and cuddle...rock and cuddle we shall!!

You love....cuddling and rocking (Thank you Jesus:), reading books, your lovie, Mickey Mouse clubhouse, playdates, "nack" time.., Minnie and lovie, your doggies-you love to give Zoe hugs and try to hold Dixie...

You dislike...most veggies these days (thankful for pouches every day for snack), getting your diaper changed or getting dressed, having to get out of the bath some nights,

Your schedule is staying about the same...you have handled weaning your afternoon nap really well....It's weird to be reading books, rocking, singing and praying at 7:30 but I'm thankful for the extra 2 hours with you in the afternoon though I'm not near as productive....you'd think I would be after you go to sleep early but I'm usually worn out too...
