Weekend Wrap-up

If you live in the Dallas/Ft Worth area and haven't ventured to the Perot Museum and Klyde Warren Park...you must go ASAP...don't know if it is just me being sentimental and trying to savor these last few weeks as a family of 3 but we had an exceptionally wonderful weekend around here...Friday we had a fun night with the Granberry's working on some crock pot meals (I will share the recipes later since I constantly get asked for more;)....then Saturday we headed downtown for some fam time at the Perot Museum and Klyde Warren Park....I'm not sure much makes me as a mommy beam more than seeing my sweet girl having the time of her life...soaking it all in, giggling, enjoying some delish food and having a blast....The Perot Museum has such a great little kids area and so many kid friendly interactive things to do in every room....and then there is Klyde Warren Park just down the street....we couldn't have asked for better weather....it was beautiful...not too hot, not to sunny...just perfect....with it's splash pads, playground, food trucks, grassy areas for running, ruff ruffs everywhere...PERFECTION for our sweet little toddler and us of course!!! I recommend grabbing your tickets online before arriving to the Perot museum to avoid the long lines...we purchased ours online right before we arrived and they just checked the tickets on my phone...and make sure you check the times for food trucks before heading to Klyde Warren Park...on the weekends they are typically open later but you don't want to miss them.
