Key West girl's trip

You guys I just got back from spending 5 glorious days with some girl friends in the sunshine, on the beach, in Florida to celebrate #cristinanauti40. Cristina turned 40, so 14 of us flew off the spend some time in Key West, Florida. These girls have become my friends thanks to Dennis, Cristina and book club...I adore each of them. We stayed in condos at Tranquility Bay Resort, it was the most perfect place and setting. I have to admit I did zero planning for this trip and I am SO thankful for the amazing ladies that planned the best trip, with the most perfect adventures. I did lead our shopping trip and time down Whitehead and Duval Street, so that counts for something right?! I have not been on a girl's trip since having kids (because I have issues and have the hardest time leaving my kids), BUT I am so glad I did it. I over-prepared life at home and the hubs and kids all survived and it was much needed. Going to try to recap our trip and I cannot recommend taking a girl's trip enough. I haven't laughed, relaxed, drank and eaten more in a long time, haha!

The cutest party favor bag!
Our resort

The cutest rooms ever

After a pretty long travel day on Thursday we ate dinner with a bunch of Cristina's at the resort after having a fun lunch in Miami. Our dinner was delicious!

Friday we decided a lazy all day pool and beach day was in order. It was heavenly. We talked, we drank, we Tiki hutted-ha, and ended the night with a cheese tray and dance party.

I think Tica shut the Tiki hut down....
Girl Wash your face-finally got to start on this book, I highly recommend

Saturday we headed to "downtown" Key west. We hit up the cuteset shop, Wanderlust Key West, thanks to my bestie's recommendations, ate lunch at Blue Macaw Island Eats and Bar, and visited Ernest Hemingway House.

A few girls grabbed the most delicious Key Lime pie and breakfast pastries at Moondog Cafe. I highly recommend.

When I was pregnant and we traveled to Spain I discovered the watermelon/tomato salad. When I saw this on the menu my mouth watered...it was delicous

Roosters everywhere

After shopping til we dropped we headed to meet up with the rest of the beach girls for an incredible sunset cruise Cristina booked with Sailing Catamaran "Sirius"-Captain Dale was so great and the cruise was perfect.

Mel captured this picture from our waterfront dinner...it was slow but we enjoyed plenty of champagne while we waited.

Sunday...we headed out early for a fun snorkeling trip with Captain Hook's snorkeling, thanks to Cat. I wasn't sure how my claustrophobia would handle snorkeling and after a few hyperventilatory breaths I made it and loved it! After a fun snorkeling trip and cruise we headed back for our last beach visit and had the most incredible private chef dinner back at our condos thanks to Cristina. It was truly incredible and Tica may have gotten me to do the worm, in a wet suit, to cap off the trip...so fun and so thankful!

Amazing appetizers!

Last sunset of the trip

And the fun goodies and stash for my adorable crew at home!

If you need a girl's trip go ASAP, I also highly recommend Key West in November! Take me back! Back home to temps in the 30s.
