We started December off with a bang throwing in as much holiday things as we can the next few weeks. With the kids ages this year everything seems so much more fun and magical. We started Friday night off by eating at Mi Cocina by The Star and watching the lights show. If you live close it's a must do....they will do it every Friday and Saturday night at 6 pm. It's a quick 30 minute show, the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders perform, Santa makes a quick appearance, they light the tree and there is some fun fireworks. Fun, quick free event and it was busy but not overcrowded. Saturday we had a birthday party then headed to dinner. Sunday we met some of our friends at the Galleria to see Santa, ice skate and do all the festive things. It was such a fun weekend to start off the holiday and Advent season.
