So my mom had her CT scan done on Tuesday and we met with Dr. Munoz today. He walks in and says "So your CT scan looks mostly normal," I'm sorry did you say 'mostly' normal. NOT what you want to hear when going to these appointments. So he goes on to say my mom has a small 9 mm cystic mass on her liver, that they saw on CT scan. He is not overly concerned about the mass but would like her to get a PET/CT scan. A PET/CT scan uses radionuclide to find cancer cells in the body. So please, please keep her and our family in your prayers! We are already hopeful and prayerful that the mass will be benign and no cancer. Thank you for your continued prayers and support. Waiting is never easy, but I love this
blog by Lauren Chandler on The Weight of Waiting recently. I love this quote by Lauren,
"For those who wait on the Lord, though, it is not a weight leading to despair but instead a weight that invites us to know hope."
This is so true, sometimes in trials and days of hurt and waiting is when God reveals himself the most and his ultimate plan is far better than we can imagine.
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” Ephesians 3:20
Thanks again for everything. I will keep you updated!
