Izzy got to take her bestie to San Antonio and Sea World last year. We were already there for gymnastics meet so it worked out perfectly. Ever since Addi has requested an "out of town" birthday party. We settled on Great Wolfe Lodge so she is taking her sister and their besties this weekend. I love when they choose experience birthday parties!! It will be simple and sweet and I love this "groovy theme" we decided on:)
My sweet baby turned 5 and all she wished for was a real “unicorn” birthday! We had the best time making this happen. The amount of hugs and thank yous she gave us proved how grateful she was and how loved she felt. She had a very specific girls only invite list proving how mature she is becoming.

For party favors I did "Decorate your own bag." My kids each got to pick a set of iron on patches from Amazon and the kids picked as many patches as they could fit. I just placed a small towel over the patches and plastics and ironed right on after they picked their favorite! It was a huge hit.
Addilyn completed her first year of dance and dance recital. It was the most precious thing I ever did see. She had so much personality on stage! I was in love.....next up gymnastics!!

Addilyn's big girl room is officially complete. We are one sleep and one nap in and so far its been work but will be so much better than her dive bombing put pf her crib. How was your kiddos transition to a big kid bed? Did you survive? Cayson was the worst, he started at 18 months and I still remember the months of fighting naps and bedtime. Here's to hoping Addi is easier than that, haha!
I know I am not the only mom who has thought what in the world am I going to do with the 4,000 videos on my phone....I discovered Isbell Family Films a few months ago and am in heaven. This past weekend we celebrated sweet Addi's 2nd birthday with the sweetest Swan themed carousel party. I rented out the adorable carousel at our local mall and it was precious. The carousel is Addilyn's current favorit thing so this could not have been more perfect.
