Weekend wrap-up

We have had a rough couple of weeks emotionally so this past weekend could not have been timed better.  My beautiful bestie Kristin came into town from Houston and we had such a great time...Friday night Dennis worked so Isabella and I went and joined my parents for a quick dinner at Taco Diner then head to Buy Buy baby to stalk up on a few items...We bought some new bottles, a larger bottle grass drying mat (here) they didn't have the big one when I registered but I love it and now that she is taking more bottles and I'm pumping ALL the time we needed a bigger one. We also picked up a few toys. I know, I know watch out wild Friday night over here;)
Posing with her rattle from one of the doctors I work with...haha he thought it might scare her...yes one day it very well might but for now she loved the colors:) (Perfect gift from him, wouldn't have expected anything different)
Then we got up Saturday morning and played while waiting for Auntie Kristin to arrive. Loving this cute outfit from Aunt Hannah.

Yay Auntie Kristin arrived!!!
We had such an incredible time catching up then headed to spend some more time with my parents!!

Sunday we headed to one of our favorite brunch spots Whiskey cake...

And I enjoyed some delish decaf French pressed coffee...

And because I love waffles and love chicken strips I was convinced to try their chicken and waffles....hmmm interesting combo it was good not necessarily my fave! I honestly wasn't a fan of the bacon laced waffles but the chicken strips were delish!

This sweet girl slept the whole time...she is loving her Wubbanub more and more when she is sleepy so nice when we are out and about:)

Kristin and I cheered and cheered because Isabella is getting SO close to flipping from her back to her tummy but despite all our cheering efforts it didn't happen just yet...she just needs to figure out what to do with her arm and she will be there:)

I decided I needed to make some onesies for Superbowl Sunday...I experimented with some new Wunder Under so they took longer than usual and I may or may not have had a slight run in with my embroidery machine wanting to eat the onesie but I was altogether very pleased with the way they turned out!!

I made this delicious toffee dip SO, SO easy:

1 (8oz) package cream cheese
1 (8oz) package toffee bits
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup sugar
Mix all together and served chilled with apples and graham crackers

BFFs in their onesies! Only 5 weeks apart!

They were holding hands it was SO cute!!

And that's it. Happy Monday
