This past Saturday we headed southbound so I could help host a baby shower for my precious friend Kristin. Kristin moved away from Texas when we were 6 and 7 and we have managed to remain incredible friends ever since despite any time or distance. Her friendship to me is invaluable....we have walked through a lot together as friends....traumatic events to both of our parents at young ages, relationships, girl problems...I think its some of those events that bonded us forever....and now we get to celebrate the most incredible thing in life...having baby girls almost exactly a year apart....kind of like Kristin and I...I pray that they know a friendship like ours...I am over the moon excited to meet Miss Madeline Joylie....I mean is that not the most amazing name ever....so french...I love it!!
