This weeks Friday favorites is brought to you by a 5 day girls trip and all the things we discussed, loved, and shared. I love getting new ideas from sweet friends and tried and true opinions on things that they have loved, hated and the newest thing I must have:)
I promise a full Big Sur recap is coming...the post vacation reentry is a real beast, ha!
ONE. Suitcases...since obviously we had tons of them and were oohing and awing over each others there was lots of suitcase discussing. Allison and I both have this carry on and are obsessed. I didn't want to spend the money on the checked version just so it could get ruined day one so I grabbed this rose gold and LOVE it. The quality is amazing and the rose gold doesn't show scratches all that bad. The Away suitcase was also a big hit. It has a charger in it for your devices, genius! Oh....and PACKING CUBES...have changed my life...why am I SO late to the game?!
TWO. Party favors...we each brought something fun for a little "adult party favor" if you will. I love this part of these girl's trips. I brought shirts with "Sur-ly girls" in rose gold on them. I used this company on Etsy and they are amazing quality and so soft. I also brought Gimme bands, my newest favorite hair rubber band. They are made out of sweatshirt material so when they stretch out you just wash them with your laundry! These leopard Corkcicle from Cristina came with us...could be water, could be champagne...no body knows;) Tica got us Mike's Hot Honey and don't kid yourself it made its debut on the midnight hot tub charcuterie tray, and omg its delicious. Oh...sorry last one for real, Brittany got these amazing Eddie Bauer backpacks for each of us for our hike. So perfect, even has a cell phone case on the front so you don't have to reach into a bag for it.
THREE. More party favors, beauty section.....We had 3 favorite lip glosses for the trip-my Chanel lip stain in Sweet Berry, Maybelline Super Stay Ink Crayon in Settle for More, and the Mac lip gloss looked amazing on everyone. This Glossier lip gloss and Haloscope duo are perfection. Okay and last but not least Benefit mascara has changed my life. Allison uses all 3, she found a good deal on the set at Black Friday...I immediately ordered the They're Real one but want all three. I found it in this combo with my favorite bronzer ever as well:)
FOUR. Shoe favorites...obviously with 6 girls there is lots of shoe discussion. Most of ours were hiking, walking, casual discussion since we did a lot of that:) These Sorel wedges might be my favorite ever. They are so trendy and incredibly comfortable. These Sperry's were perfect for our "hike." I was obsessed with Sheree's New balance shoes in navy. Cristina had some Merrel's that would be the best hiking boots.
FIVE. THE Fedora! You guys....this fedora became the talk of the trip....no telling how many and how many different colors got ordered by the end of the wine tasting and trip. Haha...several girls got the green and I can't wait to see it on them. I have the black and now also need the camel:) Order one...I promise you won't be disappointed plus you will be cooler.
Happiest Friday...someone take me back to Big Sur or plan my next trip ASAP!
