Our Quarantine Easter 2020

I think we can say things are very different these days. Life has different expectations and some new norms. I think my goal has been to try to keep some normalcy for our kiddos all while teaching them that sometimes life isn't how we expected or planned and sometimes it down right sucks! Our kids have handled this season really, really well and I have enjoyed savoring the slow down of life. I am dying for some family gatherings, the usual hugs and fun and can't wait for that hopefully soon....

My sweet parents swung by Saturday morning for a fun Easter egg front yard hunt and to do our annual Resurrection egg story. This is really fun way to explaining Easter, highly recommended. The kids loved it....my grandparents even came to watch and partake from their car:)
Addi all ready in her Peppa Pig dress to celebrate her quarantine party day too:)

These cute signs Hannah made:)

Sunday was slow but intentional...we watched church service, did our egg hunt, egged a friend....and enjoyed some much needed sunshine with some more pool time.

She is roly poly obsessed!

Aunt Hannah also sent them on an adorable egg hunt that they loved:)

We got dressed up fancy for some pics with my sweet sis Hannah and poured some milk in our chocolate bunnies...this is SO fun if you haven't tried it!

Sent some goodies off to cousins! Not the same...can't wait to hug all their necks and hold all these sweet babies!

We continued the celebration on Monday with some sock bunny making thanks to aunt Hannah as well

Cookie making thanks to my friend Heather!

Caught eating ALL the icing, haha

First Cadbury....shes here for ALL the chocolate.

Hope you had a blessed Easter and enjoyed celebrating that It is finished...He is Risen inded!!
