Home school work space

Two weeks into E-learning in the spring I ripped out the carpet in this room. I had hated this room for SO long and the smell from puppy dog pee did me in. This was the longest process due to Covid and wood floors being on back order and a lot of contractors not working. I am SO thankful it got completed right before we started back to e-learning this fall. This space has been a lifesaver for us. The kids also have a small work space in our living room that is an absolute favorite. We have had it since Isabella was little and the kids use it daily. I tried to link all our favorites at the end.

We ordered the wood floors from Nebraska Furniture Mart and my sweet BIL and hubby installed them in one day.

The baseboards are these, we had a local contractor install them.

The wall color is Behr simply white.

This desk and leaning shelves we bought with the house. I'm obsessed with my new light fixture we put in, in the fall.

This fun workspace is a lifesaver. The kids love to do arts and crafts, school work and eat here. It's right by our living room so prime location for me to see them.

These clear acrylic bins on the ends are my favorite. I use them to organize all over the house. These baskets I found from Target.

I got all my organization bins and shelves from Amazon, some from Ikea and tons from Container store.
These clear cups from Williams Sonoma are perfect for crayons, pencils, etc.

This backpack station Dennis added for me last year is an absolute favorite. It has been life changing, no more backpacks and nap mats on the floor after school.
