Big sur/Carmel trip

Oh my goodness you guys. I just got back from the best trip with some of the sweetest girls. The best part...I did zero part of the planning for it (thank you Tica, you are amazing, or SO freaking cool!) It was heart souring, soul lifting, giggle inducing greatness; I truly haven't laughed this much in ages. It was SO needed and perfect. If you are looking for a girl's get away I highly recommend.
Packed and ready for some girl time! this suitcase is my new obsession and so is my top! Will link all our faves at the end:)
Every vacation must start with a mimosa!
This was our first stop....Bixby Bridge, hello Big Little Lies fans!

We flew into San Jose Thursday and came home on Sunday! We had about a beautiful 2 hour drive to our incredible AirBnb!

We then headed to Big Sur Bakery for lunch and then for drinks at Ventana with this incredible View!

We stocked up at a local store and then headed back for dinner, this view and some hot tub time at our house!
We each brought a fun item for "party favors"! I'm obsessed with everything we got! I grabbed some fun shirts from Etsy that said "Sur-ly girls" and they were perfect. Best quality and service if you need custom shirts.

I shared more details in this Friday Favorites post
This view and this house!!

Friday we woke up and headed for a fun "hike" at Julia Pfeiffer state park that was more of short walk because a lot of trails were closed but it was still beautiful.
Our "hike" to McWay fall did not disappoint.
We then headed to Nepenthe for lunch and its incredible view. Our waitress seemed right of a movie...she was adorable.

This hat was a weekend favorite and became quite the fun quotable;)
We went to dinner at Sierra Mar in Post Ranch Inn...it was delicious. A set 4 course meal that we didn't know what everything was but it was amazing!

The beautiful hike to dinner ha

Saturday we had brunch at Deejens before heading to Carmel...it was delicious and did not disappoint! And Carmel will never be the same after our visit;)

Carmel didn't see what was coming, haha!
I volunteered to carry all the wine back to the car and my arms almost died and dropped them all, ahah!

We had dinner at Dametra Cafe after having some fun at a few local wineries! Their gluten free pizza was delicious!

We grabbed breakfast at Whale Watchers cafe before heading home! Not a single place or thing we did disappointed. Tica is the trip planning extraordinaire.
Headed home with full hearts and lots of memories!
Best souvenir! "Pop bottles"

Cheers friends...if you've thought about a trip to Big Sur I promise it is SO worth it!
